Hello! Call me Rafreygr.

I am a heathen polytheist witch, syncretic with hellenism and Ozark folk traditions. I've been practicing since the end of 2021, and have finally figured out how to use HTML enough to put to screen the knowledge I've been hoarding for some time. I still have much to learn, I'm young both in years and in this tradition, but I'd like to have a digital version of my notebooks, so to speak.

I consider myself a pluralist, that is, I acknowledge a multitude of deities across many different cultures. While my own focus is on the gods of Heathenry and Hellenism, I don't believe in the correctness of one over the other. I include Yeshua in my practice, for example, as an ancestor-hero. I am always seeking to learn about other practices, modern and ancient, just to appreciate them.

On the magick side of things, I practice a sort of self-constructed (but definitely externally-informed) amalgamation of historical recreation and living folk tradition. I'm based out of the Ozark mountains, so much of my practice involves Ozark native species of plants, animals, and fungi, and folk magick from the area. I've found that there is a not insignificant overlap with the Appalachians!
